I am a near complete moron with computers and I have all kinds of ideas for Stars! games. I need help please, explain step by step what I need to do to put together a game, make a map, setup with the autohost, any files I need to download and how to use them...and remember Im a moron with computers so try to keep that in mind when explaining what I need to do. I dont expect a total anwser all at once but if some experienced people can take some time to explain things to me step by step I would be most thankful.

First of all, you need the race files from the players (and yourself if you are playing) before you can create the game. That means posting in the "New games" section of the forum with a description of the game you intend to set up and getting the names and e-mail addresses of the player.
When you have all the race files you can go ahead and create the game by selecting "New game" on the Stars! opening screen. Remember that to be compatible with Autohost, you will need to use version 2.7JRC3 or 2.6JRC4.
When you have selected "New game" you need to select "Advanced game" to set up a multiplayer game. The steps to create the game should be easy to understand.
You might consider looking through the options in the game creation dialogs to see what options there are before you write your description of the game.
There is a detailed description of hosting a game on Autohost here: http://starsautohost.org/gamesnew.htm.
