Another fleet has been spotted heading from Cancer space towards the hotly disputed Augira. With reserves called in from deep locations in the Hirotan conflict, it is hoped the 277 ship fleet, almost half the Cancer fleet can be repelled.
In other news the Cancers lapdogs, the metroids, have been spotted moving Capital ships towards the border.
Efforts to resolve the hostilities by Ambassador Mazikudo appear to have fell upon deaf ears. Dispite repeated attempts, The Cancer/Metroid offer centers upon turning our vessels and engaging the neighbours in the east, the Settembrini. in return were offers of "survival" and "mutual respect"
Ambassador Mazikudo - quite rightly - dismissed this offer without needing to consult government leaders. In a speech to assembled journalists she highlighted "that to turn our weapons on our peaceful neighbours to the west for the flimsy offer of survival is both simultaneously showing the lack of respect the Cancer and Metroids have for honour, and proves the assumption that the Cancer/Metroid axis of evil would rather The hirota waste their lives attacking their friends than ending the existence of the western savages.
"The Hirota know the concepts of survival and mutual respect all too well, and the Cancer/Metroid axis would be wise to learn those concepts from the Hirota the easy way, not the hard way."
