- Could you allow ships to build things (including packets)? Can we put orbitals (gates and drivers) on ships.
Not in version 1. Perhaps some future version this will be possible, but in general I think it would take a lot of work to get it balanced. It is probably possible to modify the ship hulls to allow orbitals to be placed on ships, and they could probably be built. But the code won't be looking for those things on ships, so doing so will just be a waste.
