Torpedos/missiles and range.

Pray to god they're not using range 3 weapons and pray they're not using the croby.

Other solutions include....

1. have a bigger horde.
2. minefields.
3. Sappers. Since it's safe to assume most frigate hordes will have sheilds rather than armour sappers can cause havoc.
