1) no passwords on the files, it's a testbed, didn't bother.
2) the p# files are numbered p1 to p6, the ones I generated from the GUI.
3) the p# files? I'm trying to figure how Stars! chooses which variable to terraform next Wink

4) no, you misunderstand. The gamename.def file is in the same directory as Stars.exe, its last line was c:\stars\universe\gamename.xy, so the game files were created in that subdirectory.
