Definitely. As the host of this beginner game, I noticed this in your race design and almost advised you to revise your race to 1/1000. I didn't in the end because I thought the lesson would stick if learned the hard way.

As far as living without IFE, with ISB it can be done. But IFE is easier for sure.

This game was a small universe, and would likely not be a long game. So OBRM makes sense here. In this game setup, you likely would not have had time to make good use of remote miners.
