In another resized universe (ATSR series), the MT made an appearance around 2450.
I just think that your AR universe has scared the MT away with all those mineral fountains ready to jump at him, like hungry bears on noisy humans dipped in honey.

ps - I'm sure there are some w24 Armageddons nubians being built, as we read this..
