One of my favorite time killers is medium/dense vs 8 AI with a vcon of "owns 50% of planets". I gen 50 years before giving any orders. Then I put myself on a time limit of 5 minutes per turn. I lose if an AI gets the vcon before me.

What we need's a few good taters.
