I found a workaround for the problem of mouse clicks sending too many clicks to the VM.

For me, running something somewhat CPU-intensive on the host machine seems to fix it.

My current choice is simply opening a browser and going to the Idle Blacksmith page. Probably anything that uses the Unity plugin will do the trick.

HTH anyone that comes across this thread in the future.

What we need's a few good taters.
