It's just a matter of defining a keyboard shortcut that sends a single mouse click to the OS at the current mouse coordinates. In fact, it might be as simple as a single-line, single-word script, with the script itself linked to a hotkey combination. I'll take a look tomorrow and see if it is as simple as I suspect.
That would certainly be nice, then I would just have to find a key I won't be using for anything else while using XP mode.
I seem to remember from he AHK documentation that it can distinguish between the left and right Windows key, so I could use the right Windows key, as I always use the left Windows key when I need it as Windows key. Or I could use Scroll Lock, I haven't used that key outside boot applications since using PC's that booted in DOS.
