Interesting. I'll give that a try the next time the problem occurs for me.
I usually just live with it. It's a minor annoyance for me. Not quite a nuisance. And it hasn't happened in a while.
Hmm...could it be related to the temperature of the computer? Seems like it happened more often when my laptop had been sleeping in the cold basement. It hasn't slept there in a while, and I haven't had the problem in a while. Post hoc, ergo propter hoc. Infallible.
