Those of you who, like me, have been searching for a Stars! replacement for the past decade, do yourself a favor and take a close look at Cosmic Supremacy.

Some of the features:
- Fully playable (not a beta)
- Same simultaneous turn based model as Stars!
- Hosted on the site (no need for a player hosting)
- Multiplayer (i believe up to 32 players)
- Ship Design
- Research
- 3D star system with planets
- Wormhole generators Smile

Looks like it's been around since 2007, but since I didn't find it until yesterday I figured the same might be true for some of you here. It's free to play
