I went to their forum and looked around. Found a "new game thread" named "extremely long tick game"... And their "extremely long" tick was.. 6 hours.

I certainly would not consider calling anything short than one day gen other than a blitz for Star games. In that new game you are discussing, they often discuss half hour or hour long ticks.

Definitely not the same kind of game at all.
