Found nice 61% green. 81-100 LY. Acen/Lurainer Scouts. Loads of Ewhere scouts and 2 more colo ships already… Sent out 3 messages to my neighbors as well as started NAP discussions with magic and Ewhere (He disclosed he's a NAS JOAT.. hmmm.). Magic might be IS, but don't want an early fight with him.

Jeff scout spotted .. 22kT. Scout #2. No reply to my ingame message. Other 3 replied. If NAP doesn't happen with Magic, this might be a problem. Deadline of 2410 for magic.

In game Ewhere continues to send colo ships everywhere.. Even beyond the midway point of our HWs. I planned on pop-dropping his 2500 colo worlds within my side of the border, but will initiate diplomatic moves now to secure mid-way point.

10 greens, 4-5breeders. I'm happy. As I don't have pen scanners, I've built a chaff-pinger and am queing up waypoints to all Ewhere colo ships. I'll then be able to find out where he's colonised with less MM. No reply from Ewhere to ingame message.

Read Ewhere's of 2408 now. It went to my spam box.. I will send him an ingame message and a mail warning his colo ships off. If he continues to ignore or takes more than 2 turns to reply, I will pop-drop him. MF already on way. Ok, mail sent, but not pulling back my MF. If he doesn't colo, then our NAP is valid. His colonisation within my borders (post the mid-way point) is something I won't agree to. Sent him a mail asking him to confirm the borders. Jeff revealed himself at Blush (HW). Still no reply to my ingame message, so sending him a email. As magic has signed the NAP, I am inclined to take out jeff 1st. He's too deep into his corner sector, so that makes it easier for me to push him out. I had earlier thought I would be attacking Lurianer... Discovered both Acen starting planets as well, confirmed IT. Might want to ally with him for his IT gates Very Happy.. I have NAPs signed to my south (Q5-Ewhere-JOAT)and southwest (Q6-Magic-IS?) Friendly discussions with the IT twins (Q1 Lurianer-IT?,Q4-Akon-IT)on my west. Only my eastern neighbor has not replied (Q3-Jeff-?). I prefer taking out my western IT neighbor in Q1 (Q1 Lurianer-IT) so that I can ally with an IT and move south against nasobema perhaps.. (Q4-Akon-IT)for a long term alliance.. Don't want to attack Q3 (Jeffs) or else they might run to magic (Q6). If I can be sure of magic's long term intention and see how they intend to play in the long run, then I will think of taking out the jeff first.

Found a 96% green in Ewhere space. Going to trade for it post 2415… or will think of it later Wink Found a 85% green at Jeff/magic border space.. Makes it 3 greens. Need to secure that clump. Jeff's 2 colo ships still move towards Empty.. And another 4 towards Viscous. What is he doing.. Wierd strategy/designs. Sent him another ingame message. I'll send him one final in 2415 and if I don't get any reply, then will attack him. Allied with Azen as hoped. He was in a semi-formal alliance with Ewhere, but he has now converted that into a NAP and confirmed a LMS alliance with me. I wonder if he'll do the same alliance conversion with me though, when it's convenient for him.. but having a SS-IT combo is good. Plans are to squeze out jeff post 2420 so that magic cant use my eastern flank to get to me.. and then with Acen help, take out egoo. 2420 to 2440. We'll see after that, coz I expect egoo and magic to ally by then. With magic being an IS, I need to take him out by 2450-60.

Weap2 reached.. didn't get bio1 from pop drop. Will research it myself after weap8. Getting Prop5 from Acen (giving elec4,weap3) 1000 res for 1970 res. and En6 from magic (giving weap6). I'll focus on con and weap myself. Jeffs finally replied and have signed the NAP. I will rethink initial attack plan once I reach En3,Weap8,Con6.

Sent diplomatic mail to Jeffs, saying trade bio, or I'm not interested in NAP. Ofcourse in a more subtle way. He's a joat 90%. Planned out tech research settings till 2420, need to know when are magic's energy scrappers going to reach my planets and when should my weap scrappers reach him. Most probably going to skip En1-2-3 and research it myself. If he still wants weap1-2-3, let him provide me En7 for Weap6 + cost difference in making those scrappers.. (?)(think about it). The Ewhere's seem to be crossing Acen borders and are going to colonise marla.. which is a 92% green for me. Keeping my eyes open against backstab from Acen. Going to request Acen not to let Ewhere cross borders into Acen space..

Jeffs have agreed to Bio trading. As it will be from 2420 to 25, that is perfect for me. Asked ewhere what happened to colodropping decatuar. Got to time my drop better as I don't want to loose prop/bio. Also in 2420, let him own it Wink

Plans made for LF/SFX by 2419 so that I can do a huge colo exodus in 2419/20 so PPS doesn't show me as a big threat. I'm still at 25% on my HW and I've touched 25% on 2 other breeders (85%+) I have 2 other 85% breeders to fill up and 5 breeders planned in next 7-10 years. 2 in egoo space, 1 in Acen sector and 2 near magic's sector. Magicshroom - 1 of them is impossible (20LY from magic's HW) but the other one is a good location between jeffs and mshroom. Another 3Breeders+5Production planets in Acen's space. Target of 15 years to get colonists on them all.

Exchanged .h file data with Snotters.. Should get it by next turn from Xyli. Propulsion/Con/Pop exodus going as planned. Nothing new.
He gets a better deal, but this way, I get intel on the lower 1/3rd universe. I have top 2/3rd filled up.

Exchanged game files with Acen. Might as well risk it.He'll realise I'm a -f, but pps will reveal it by 2420. He'll know my main planets, but the advantages for both of us outweigh the risks.

5,510kt colonists in space.. 13,530kt on ground. 30% of my colonists in space. Going for the breeders. Also after seeing PPS, realised that magic will be forced to push north instead of making moves against Snot. Going to planet stamp my greens.. No border agreeement decided, so I don't agree with his 243 ly policy between planets. 150 LY is a more reasonable distance (safe distance against packets). Once I get my greens (220-250 LYs from his space, I'll ask for borders, or intiate exit clause). Doubt he'll waste his HE colonists in a suprise attack against me at the frontline worlds.

Surprising.. A mostly stable WH jumped ! From Q5-Q5 to Q5-Q7 now. Also used a smart pinger to check magic's scout and mini-colo. Learnt nothing new, but got confirmation that he's not taken IFE… have almost gotten his race specs down. Knew his habs last turn. Quite like mine, but immunity of grav, narrow band of temp and broad rad.

Later Notes.

It was around 2425-30, that I realised Magic was a 3i HE. A funny incident occured when I was talking about the in-game opponent planet pop reading. I sent him a screenshot of the planet box showing a planet he owned along with the colonists... but FORGOT TO delete my hab settings. Ouch-lol.

PPS - I went in for a lot of planet stamping (grabbing planets).. which I think helped in having a better hand in diplomatic negotiations. I think it confused magic if I was -f or not for 15-20 years as he saw a number of my 25kt pop worlds.
