Greetings All,
Sorry for taking so long, my life is pretty busy but will come to being very dull here in the new future (I'm moving )
Ccmaster: I have decided that I will not play in any of the games but rather will act as an "observant host". This way I can monitor race files and game interaction (in game messages, major battles... the usuall). I will of course ask players to notify me when an important battle is to happen so that I may keep track of it, and will not publisize the battle until a couple of years AFTER the battle is over to make sure that their isn't any disputes of "leaked" information (from the host that is ). As far as the 22 planets per player, that is basically the result of the following Equation: #of_Stars_total/#of_Players
For instance a Medium Packed Universe has on average 540, devide that by the total amount of players is 16 which equals about 33 planets per player, make a Medium Dense and that drops it by 11 to 22 planets per player. Keep in mind that if there is ever less than 16 players I will multiply the #of_Players and the ratio all players have agreed on (which will most likely be 33 planets if we are looking for a generally long RP intense game).
Tech25: To answer your question the game will start once we have enough players who generally want to play, aranged in order of who asked first. As far as experienced players don't worry, the Power point system was designed to ballance out all the powers of each race and to provide a nice battle ground for all players. Keep in mind though that this IS a role playing game and diplomacy _should_ be a key factor. In other words, if you have an enemy who was extremely powerful one game, you can ally with others and unite to destroy the strong foe before it gets out of hand, and then finish the rest of the game acording to who is left after the battle.
Everybody Else: As for sending me an e-mail send it to LostShakir@nospam.yahoo.com just make sure to take out the "nospam" part when you e-mail me
Thanks All,
Stalwart
