COUP D'ÉTAT !
Senator Ido Abuse and his military faction overthrow Intelligent faction.
During a heated Luap assembly meeting, military troops seized the Capital and assassinated Intelligent party leader N.O. Spine. Military faction leader Ido Abuse quickly declared himself absolute controller of all Luapian forces.
Statement from Ido Abuse:
Nexus :
It is high time the Luaps ended this ridiculous border conflict with the Nexus. The unorganized attacks on worthless Nexus planets must be stopped immediately. General Flak Fodder has been removed as military director and from now on all fleet commands will come directly from me and my advisor team.
The Nexus offensive will be a more focused campaign. This race has threatened the Luaps long enough. There use of WMDs (packet attacks) on Luap worlds will not be forgotten. Those crewmen of the lost Luap vessels will be avenged.
YapYap:
It has become evident that the YapYaps who once declared themselves allied against the Nexus and were provided vital information about Luap military plans were acting as double agents for the Nexus. It has come to our attention that this information was delivered to Nexus and had prompted a preemptive strike plan by the Nexus. After declaring themselves allied with the Hirota and committing to help defend them in a organized attack on Nexus, the YapYaps quickly jumped sides to the apparent stronger neighbor and double crossed both the Luap and Hirota.
As of this date the NAP between the YapYaps and Luap will be terminated according to the agreed timeline. No War declaration is made. It is hoped that the YapYaps will see that there decision was made hastily, and they can be freed from the Nexus influence. The exchange of military technology between YapYap and Nexus has not gone unnoticed and a Luap herald is in route to discuss this with YapYaps.
CheekyBugger:
The Luap have maintained the peace with the CheekyBuggers. It is hoped a friendly relation can continue between our races. The entertainment exchange between our races is vital to the Luap citizens mental health.
Altoid:
The longtime friends of the Luaps continue to live in peace and share our universe. Their reluctance to take a side in the Nexus affair is disappointing but understandable. The continued decrease use of their resources will not affect the Luap military commitments. But we are hoping negotiations for continued use of their resources for civilians will be accepted.
Weaderulium:
It has been recently announced that the Wead leader has surfaced again. Luap investigation officials are analyzing the transmissions received to authenticate that the voice heard is actually that of MG. And since no details of previous events have been indicated in these transmissions, it is very likely that these were prerecorded prior to the Weaderulium demise.
In other news:
It is feared that the newest and unreleased Hidden Herry Potter novel has been stolen. An unbound copy of the novel was found near a Germanium mine. CheekyBugger publishers have not confirmed the missing copy, but many fans hope this may up the release date to prevent pirate copies from swamping the intranet.
