Cease Fire!

The Luap News agency is back on-line!

After a major political transformation, the Luap Assembly has negotiated cease fire terms with the CheekyBuggers. Peace agreements are now being discussed.

Making use of the ancient duel process, Senators N.O. Spine and Ido Abuse have established themselves as the new leaders of the Assembly's parties. It is still to be seen if these two leaders will work together or perhaps try to eliminate each other and return the Luap to a single party rulership.

Since the lifting of curfews and reopening of media services
a subdued Luap people have uneasily gone back about their everyday lives.
Soldiers still patrol the streets, and no public sign of political support for either party is present. Most Luapians are reluctant to show support of a political party for fear the other party will rise to power.

But not all is so grim. Even as the CheekyBugger and Luap officials negotiated peace. The commercial and retail officers of both races have reopened consumer trade. The newest releases from CheekyBugger musicians and movie makers have hit the shelves already. Including the long awaited sequel in the Hidden Herry Potter series.
