IS IT WAR?
After CheekyBugger BB’s uncloaked and attack an advance naval recon fleet at Dharma, Luap officials debate War.
Facts being considered by Luap authorities:
1. Luap had made offers of compensation to the CheekyBuggers for previous trade agreements.
2. CheekyBuggers were also informed that Luap fleets inside Wead territory would not target CheekyBugger vessels unless CheekyBugger attacked first.
3. The CheekyBuggers continue to publicly slander the Luap.
Quote: "Cheekybuggers also note that the Luap's want only the best Weader planets. Apparently the rest of us can have the spoils (as long as you get Luap approval)."
4. As most intelligent races would agree, colonization plans typically involve selecting those planets found with a highly agreeable habitation value. The fact that CheekyBugger habitation values are similar to the Luaps, would be why it appears that we want all the same planets."All the more reason to give notice of intentions and negotiate for those planets with similar interests."
5. CheekyBugger use of cloaked tactics to surprise Laup forces and attack a fleet with orders not to engage in combat.
6. The attack on Luap scouts inside CheekyBugger territory was expected, and Luap had informed CheekyBuggers that no War declaration would come about from the removal of Luap vessels inside their territory.
From General Flak Fodder, Luap Military Command:
Luap war fleets have repelled the initial CheekyBugger attack fleet, finding them initiating a planet invasion at Weed. A single BB was also found roaming near Redmond and was removed by Luap forces.
While this was an emotional victory for our armed forces, we must remind our citizens that this could be just the beginning of what looks to be a long drawn out affair.
Militias are being activated and planetary defense systems have been put on high alert.
The Cloaked tactics of the CheekyBuggers will make suicide attacks likely.
However, rest assured that the Luap military will eradicate the CheekyBugger menace if such action is approved.
Family members of the killed crewman have demanded military action. Mr. and Mrs. Killme, parents of the killed crewman Don T. Killme are scheduled to speak in front of the assembly today.
Chants of "We are the Luap, the mighty mighty Luap" and "Hey hey, Ho ho, the CheekyBuggers must go," were heard at a recent War rally near the capitol.
How long can we live in fear of a race that resorts to sneaky terrorist attacks to get our attention? Can our diplomats prevent this War? What will War do to the Luaps current economic boom?
Stay tuned for these answers and more.......................
