I've read an article which mentioned this somewhere, but I can't remember what it said Embarassed

I have a vague feeling that cloaking starbases does work, but don't trust me on that! I'm not sure how this would interact with IT gate scanning, I know that cloaking on ships reduces the range at which they can be gate-scanned by IT proportionally (although if they're using infinity gates that's not an issue).
