I started playing Stars in 1999. My fiance, Pieter, got me involved in the game. My first game was Combat Academy II hosted by Art Lathrop (great teacher!) I don't know how active he is nowadays, but his website still has all the good articles and links http://www.aaedesigns.com/stars . My 2nd game
was Tempest in a Teapot hosted by Les Johnstone (who has hosted some wicked  games.. including OCTAGON) and my 3rd game was Milky Way hosted by Oliver Oehling. http://www.kpb-terra.de
Did I mention I won my first 3 Autohost games??? 
(Milky Way had a qualifier, which I barely made)
I did have allies - and I do think that being female had something to do with it... but not everything. 
My first 2 races were JOATs and 3rd was factoryless CA.
Okay.. who's next for introductions????
