It probably depends on how you're going to play - if you're going for a fast start race, aiming for early or early-mid game wars then you want to be able to use new tech as soon as you get it, so BET would really hurt. If you're going for a mid-late game strategy focussed on hordes of BCs and DNs in the late-BB era then BET might be a nice bonus and keep your DN designs competetive with Nubs. However, since WM can generally best survive with the early start strategy, I don't think BET would be a great choice. You could get lucky and win an early war anyway, or find a friendly SS who just loves throwing tech at you, in which case it could be really nice, but I think it's too much of a risk for a limited advantage.
