Hi all!

It's been a long time since I've hosted a game. There's an idea I'd like to revist: a team game without the neccessity to coordinate the teams. How's it done? Each player plays two races. You can strike a perfect balance regarding PRTs, SRTs and habs. And there is no need to coordinate the efforts with somebody who just won't see your point of view... The original game was called "Double Trouble", and if I remember correctly, the others players enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm going to modify the rules a little bit to improve the setup and to make the game more interesting. As you'll notice, it's intended for die-hards, if you're into short games with a quick decision, this isn't quite the thing for you.

Schizophrenia

16 races played by 8 players
Skill level: intermediate and above
Universe: Large, dense, distant starting positions
Starting conditions: Acc BBS, Galaxy Clumping
Turns: Monday to Friday. Slowing down later according to players wishes.
Race restrictions: CA and IT are banned. JoaT may not take NAS.
Victory conditions: In 2500, scores will be turned on. After that, the active players will vote for a winning race. The vote will be repeated until a unanimous decision is reached.
Usual cheats-disclaimer.
Alliances. Since you have one perfect ally (your second race) there's no need for others. All races belonging to other players must be set to "Enemy" at all times. All interaction with these other races is prohibited: You must treat other races as if they were played by an AI - anything you can't do with an AI, you may not do with other players in this game.

Note on races and the universe setup: I will ask a neutral third party to check the race files for compliance to the restrictions and to rearrange the universe so that the races belonging to one player are seperated by at least one enemy race.

Please note:
5 of the available slots have been taken already. If you're interested in one of the remaining 3, please contact me at:
