CA's: Should we restrict them at all? (players only please)[ 8 votes ]
1.	Do not restrict CA's in ANY form	5 / 63%
2.	Impose AT LEAST one restriction on CA's	3 / 38%

Hmm. Quite a while before posting I thought this over quite a bit. I considered banning CA's entirely, or limiting it to only 2 CA's for the game, or making sure they had 100 unused RW points, or restricting them from TT. The truth is, I really don't like the idea of limiting any races like that. Personally, I would much rather see other players join up and form strong alliances against the CA's than restricting them in any way. I know that a pretty good CA can make 100k by 2450 (though I think that was in a testbed), better if it's used by an expert, and that would certainly be pretty intimidating to the other players in a game like this, even if they do all have hard heads. Shocked

If more than one race is CA we can expect to see a good fight between them at least, but the others might not have nearly so good a chance. Embarassed

I certainly don't want everyone in the game to be CA, or even half of them.

I think I'll leave this one up to the players again and create a poll. If at least half the players want it, I'll restrict the CA's in some way. I'd just rather not go back and change more on the game description though, especially since Micha didn't agree to check the .r files for restrictions.

craebild: I just realized looking at your first post that you didn't actually say you would play, so I may have added you to the list a little hastily. Just reply back about if you decide for sure you want to play.

All players please PM me with your email addresses. Ron says I'll need them for the Autohost. Since this is a ranked game, please indicate your present rank in your opening post here. If you don't have a rank, you can either select Beginner or Lower Intermediate.
