Hi all,
we are going to start a new game next month (january).
if you want to join you should have played at least one or
two games, but not more than 5 or so...
if you feel you are too good, try AR or HE, or try a
no-tech-trade or no-allies race...
people adding a bit of "roleplaying" to their races are
welcome, but this is not necessary.
Settings:
12-16 players (hope for 16)
medium/distant/dense
_no_ accbbs!
player scores become public after 80 turns
winning conditions:
last man standing, or by player vote after turn 80.
no special rules (PRTs, LRTs...),
chaff will be allowed, but no other cheats!
There will be a neutral third party (Alter Ego), who
receives all passwords, so in case of drop-outs we can
find a replacement. Also he will here and there check
for cheaters (cheap starbase especially).
If cheaters are detected they will be kicked out and it will
be made public in the forum!
Schedule (Autohost):
24h for the first 20 turns,
from 20-50 36 hours
from 50 on 46h+
this can be adjusted by player vote from
time to time, but you should be able to
submit on weekends, too.
