Agreed. It wouldn't have been entirely dishonourable for him to go for the win, given the win conditions, the proximity to the end of the game, and the large step back to third place.

As an aside (to all AH members), how often is it that a player will come through on the rails to win in a fixed length game, rather than the early, or not so early leaders who are more likely to get "picked on" in a keenly fought game ?

Is this the norm or is it a product of all the players in RWIAB participating to a large extent, whereas normally an early leader can expand on their lead through the apathy of others ?
