So when a JoaT operates 10 mines and a CA operates 12, then
it should be quite the same with same efficiency, isnt it?
Ok, the homeword is different, as if you got more mines in total you get more minerals obviously...
Hm.... also the JoaT can deplete planets more quickly because he can operate 20%more mines... so other will get less minerals when conquering them...
What do you mean with MC????
I am always willing to learn, and this makes me curious!
Good to have people like you teaching...

OK, let's say you take two identical galaxies and in one galaxy you have a JOAT, and the other galaxy you have a non-JOAT race. Now, assuming they both have the same mining settings and hab settings, the joat will mine more minerals from his galaxy in total than the non-JOAT and this is why.
First, eventually the HWs will get down to 30% MC and the JOAT will have 20% more mines on his HW so will get 20% more minerals / turn.
Next eventually all non HW planets will get down to MC of 1% and here again, with 20% more mines, the JOAT will 20% more, although we are talking about small quantities of minerals.
So if you had the two identical galaxies and genned like a 1000 years, the JOAT will have more. I've seen this in Max Tech games where they do a real long skip before the game starts, the JOAT will have more minerals than his neighbors.
