My home computer crashed hard 2 nights ago, won't turn on, no video output.

Last night I took it apart to investigate the problem.

It looks like my video card (EVGA GeForce 7600 512mb) fan had died some time before, and the heat has melted the plastic around the fan axle. Also, 4 of the large capacitors on the video card are cracked open and leaking which is hopefully the cause of the computer not booting.

I've placed an order for a replacement card, this one which is scheduled to arrive Nov. 29 due to the Thanksgiving USA holiday (usually only takes 3 days).

Thanks to Stars! community members, I was able to pay for it from the donations to Stars! AutoHost through PayPal. wOOt 2

I'm trying to setup Thunderbird on my netbook laptop so I can access my Stars! AutoHost email and answer any emails that may have come in while my desktop is down.
