possibly changing the alliance rules |

(Posting here in addition to the email I sent as there is at least one person with an out-of-office reply...)
The Joat alliance is suggesting the possibility that we change the alliance rules, and basically remove the restriction on the number of allies.
We are already fighting the Lurker/Eagle and Ellurid/Sofian alliances. We surmise that eventually the Maera/Mycelium alliance will be against us before too long. We know that there has been communication and tech trading between the other alliances.
The idea for suggesting this is to make sure that the game remains fun for all players. There has still been some concern that some players might drop out, and if allowing the three two-way alliances to join together will keep all players involved and make it more fun for them, then we are all for it.
Of course the side effect of this is that Rancor would be able to join the Joat alliance, but then I imagine that would make it more fun for him as well.
We did discuss this with John the Host, and he finds it acceptable as long as every player agrees. Your responses may be public (to this list) or private (to John).
We look forward to any discussion on the matter.
