Another Civ concept.
Map:
Huge universe
a large gap of interstellar space divides two galaxies apart (think of two giant continental clusters of stars). players are divided into groups of two, one as mother country and other as colonial expedition team. (colonial expedition players must have con for expensive and start at 3)
Game setup and rules
at beinning of the game, all colonial players have 5 turns to build as many ships as they can and carry as many colonist to new galaxy abandoning their old planet. tehy may discuss with mother country to decide on ONE planet as destination.
Mother country
Mother countries will play on their half of the map as if it is a medium sized map and may not send ships into the intergalactic space for the first 50 turns.
Colonial players
Colonial players may be called by their mother country for resources later on in the game. Tehy may request units from home (usually higher tech). no colonists and colonizations hips from the mother country is allowed in the new galaxy, until after the the colony has declared independence.
[tribute and taxation will be decided. as it is meant to be an incentive for colonizations to declare independence]
Declaring Independence:
when the colony attains tech 14, in any of the tech fields, he may choose to declare independence. when colony AVERAGE tech attains 16, it will automatically declare independence (Victory conditions will show). After that, colony will have to fight off a fleet from the mother country (minimum size will be decided)
