15 player game.
Intermediate player level.
Small Universe.
Packed Density.
Distant Player positions.
Accelerated bbs play.
There can be a winner by a player vote. See below.
This will be a team game. see below.

Other options and rules.
This is a team game with three races per team. Any combination of races can be used to set up each team. I would prefer to receive team entries and not individual ones. I will, however, try to match individuals with others to try make teams. Please password you race file.
The game will gen every 48 hours. The game will be on autohost.
The last team standing or by unanimous vote will be the decided winner.

Also, I am trying to find someone who will move the HW's for me so that teammates can start fairly close to each other. Any takers?

Possibly. I'm gonna see if I can get Sotek on my team, since he's dying to test out some teamraces we designed together...

EDIT: Sotek is in. We're hunting one more.

How many players do you have so far?

Apologies for the lack of response. Embarassed

So far there has been very little interest shown. We are a team of three, hence the game parameters. One or two other people have mailed saying they would be interested to join one or more of us in a team, but besides yourself nobody with a team at the ready. Sad

We definitely still want to play, and if you have suggestions for generating more interest that would be great. Perhaps the game parameters need tweaking?

At this stage it seems this game idea may as well be abandoned, due to a lack of response. Mad

I would appreciate some feedback on why nobody seems interested though. Confused

Is it because I am relatively unknown? Is there a problem with the game parameters? Any advice is welcome. Nod

I didn't see anything wrong with the game advertisement, or the parameters.

I'm just limiting my playing right now due to a number of various committments. Maybe at another time I would have been interested in a nice furious team game. However, I'm very aware that there is a higher overhead in team games in order to properly coordinate with the other members.

Nothing wrong with the parameters, if I wasn't in two other games already I would join. I love team games (seldom play solo games) and hosted several of them, or did the setup.
For the last one I had also trouble finding enough teams ... Sad maybe all teams are occupied in other games? (like me and the players I usually team up with) That's possible since usually team games last longer ("usually" larger universes, slower gens because more time needed between turns to communicate, ...).

One thing though: 5 teams of 3 (assuming it's not 3 teams of 5?) don't fit very well in a universe, 4 will be in the corner with safe borders, 1 team will be in the centre surrounded by enemies ...
(And personally I enjoy team games more if all races except your own team members are set to enemy, nothing is worse than teams allying, 6 races against 3? 9 races against 3? Shocked )

Oh but this is great fun!!! Enemy HWs at a bit more than 100ly. Laughing
I hosted a team game with 4 teams of 3 in a small, all enemies and forced ending at 2480, war from turn 2401! Way better than everybody happily waiting for arma nubs!!! BORING! (I love nubs but I hate games where they are the first warships to appear.)
(Only bad thing was that the forced ending in 2480 missed a real meaning, changed that in my future team games, now there is a goal to reach in that year, capture certain planets, better that way.)

Really too bad that I'm to busy to join this game ...
