Ok we are all aware of the problem. I started this thread so we can do some war planning and coordinate our defense/ counter attack.

This is my current war plans for the Protons over the next few turns:

This year 2429:
researching to energy 3
building starbases
no pop shipments from planets building SBs
building w10 lambs

2430:
one new starbase complete
begin building colloidal FFs
lambing w10

2431:
2-3 more starbases complete
continue production of FFs
lambing w10

2432:
gate forces to jump off point for battle (possible transfer forces to someone with RS and without CE)
continue production of FFs

2433:
engage enemy horde

I have not studied my mineral supply in depth but I expect that I am going to end up with a B shortage somewhere in the middle of this building push. Can anyone spare some to support Proton Warship production?

Lets either try to sync our efforts with this time table or come up with a new time table. But what ever we do lets make sure it is coordinated. It is better to wait a turn and get a decisive victory than to attack early and break-even IMHO.

If everyone can post what their War efforts are here we can make sure we are developing an integrated war strategy.

I think some sapper ships would be a good compliment to the Colloidal FFs.

I don't know if I need to get involved in the center or if I sould just try and finish what I started in the south.

This turn, I am sending my bombers to Sherman and I hope he is unable to build a dock that can defeat my fleet of old frigates.

This turn I am building some starbase buster frigates armed with Blackjacks that can kill a couple of his bases and allow me to reduce his populations with my smart bombers (I have 63 mini-mombers armed with one smart bomb each so I can gate them).

Once I have colloidal phsaers and energy 6 shields, I'll build either collidal frigates or destroyers with possibly a sapper.

As of next gen I'll have 32 Yak FF's. I can build some sapper FF's when I get the weaps tech.
As long as your frigates are lighter - this should not be hard against Croby and dll7's - colloidals should be devastating. Smile

There is a force of 15 Tulips heading for Buttercup. They do not have bombers with them, we have time to gather a force to kill them. Maybe a good spot for the Soviets to break in their new yak FFs.

Thoughts?

That could work. THe Yaks are going to take two hits before they fire once so they need at least 2:1 numerical superiority over the force they attack. Don't be so sure bombers don't follow since they are probably cloaked.

If your boranium is in short supply, I've got around 5,000 kT of Boranium at Lekgolo. Since I won't be able to build ships for a while (no germanium), feel free to come pickup the minerals anytime.

Also, if anyone has any spare germanium, it would really help to pick up my growth if I could get a shipment.

Ozone,

I also have a gate at Empty near Sniffles for you to colonize that planet.

The Aiel surprised me at Provo, they got 14 of my frigates and a gate. My 38 frigate fleet is on the way to maul them in 3 years, if they haven't disappeared by then anyway.
