 Greetings all, I'v just been offered a slot on autohost for a new game, so here it is:

12-16 beginner/intermidiate game
Large universe medium density W/Galaxy clumping
Winner controls 35% of all stars!
player position distant
Using AccBBS but not PPS
Split fleet and Chaff are allowed, no other cheats.

Fairly straightforward stuff...
Anyone got any suggestions feel free, otherwise email me your passworded race files at Abaddon001@Yahoo.com

Can an alliance win? If not, then controling 65% of all stars of a large universe will take forever, and the game will be effectivly over before that victory condition is met. Even if an alliance can win, 65% is probably too high. I'd suggest 25% or so if you want planets (1/4 of a large is a lot). Probably a better choice is victory by vote. The method I like is some one publicly (ingame message to everyone) declares victory, then if anyone disagrees publicly within 3 turns, the declarer doesn't win (and will probably start hammering the disagreer)

 Good point mate, I'v changed it to 35% of all stars!, and if everyone is in agreement we will probably also have a facility to vote on a winner as well.

 OTOH 35% would be too easy for some alliance of HGs to caputre...it should be augmented or at least PPS and like after 100 years should be added.

 How do you make score public half way through a game? I thought games either had PPS from the start or didn't at all....?

 Ron, I was just contacted by another guy you've offered an autohost slot to, for a game called ways off the earth.

We only have 4 or so players each and have decided to combine games.... I have sent him all my race files which should be on their way to you soon.

 All race files recieved have been passed over to the new host. I also gave him all your e-mail addy's, I hope you don't mind. I have had another e-mail from him saying he's sent the files and is waiting for the game to start. Confused
