Hello? Can someone tell me if I've just been given advice on diplomacy in gameplay, or a gentle rebuke for hamming it up a little before the game started? I'm not sure how to take it.

But I intend to keep quiet. Make no decisions until required.

I didn't realise it was a joke. God I'm dumb. But to keep in turn with good humour I have the following statement prepared from my race...

Of the entire galaxy our race claims none of it. And if anyone challenges this claim or invades our lands we will fight till the death. We are a highly aggressive race searching for like minded allies with which to bring peace and harmony to the universe. All scouts are allowed in our lands we will intercept anything that enters our space and let your ships blow ours up. We will continue this policy until all races fear us and we achieve our goals.

Fair amount of "hamming" in there.

Now, who said I was pretty crappy? I only said I'm still a beginner.

Just razzin' ya. Razz I don't have to win; I'll consider it some sort of victory if I'm not the very first to go down in flames. It's been a very long time since I played, and the first time with no chaff allowed. Sounds like a whole new ballgame.

 As no one is answering, I will do now.

First of all: welcome!!!

Unfortunately the game already started. Right now Stalwart is about to start a game called Genesis Wars. It will have role-playing components in it, so maybe you want to think about taking part in it.

There is an extra topic about genesis wars. (The races need to have a certain amount of left over points ...) So read there and maybe we will see us then.
