Universe is created. Sorry it took a day longer, I had to gen it many times to get fair HW spacing. In the small universe with 6 players it tended to put a few players in an advantageous position compared to others. I think I got a setup with pretty good spacing.

I've typically had pretty good luck as -f generally. This round is a bit unusual for me, as I have factory settings. I have run test beds with 30 germ, they were easily my worst Crying or Very Sad

When I used to run factory based races I would always throw a few RW points at mineral concentrations to try to avoid this situation. Wasn't an option here.

Sorry about the germ concentration, I genned so many universes trying to get good spacing that the germ had to take a back seat.

It is also a good experience for the nubs:-)

That's what I have puzzled together as well.

The only player I can't sort to a name here in the forum is Ian [Snth6], though.

 Could we also get a complete list of rules on the game page? As I understand it, not including rules that no longer matter, they are:

One alliance of two players shall win, no more and no less, through annihilation or galactic consensus.
Only one ally shall be set to friend, all others set to enemy.
Battle orders shall be set to "attack who = enemy."
Technology may be exchanged only with an ally.
Experienced players shall not ally with each other until at least 24(30?)
Chaff, split fleet dodge, merge fleets after gating, mine damage dodge are allowed.
Autogens are to be MTWTF till '30 or request of a slowdown.
Autogens are to be MWF thereafter.
Player scores at '30.

Have we decided that experienced players won't attack for x number of years? What became of Altruist's suggestion of having the host offer coordination to the newbies as to experienced players' locations? You said there were special placements?

Says the guy who's ship designers have never even seen an xray. Laughing

Kill them all is fairly accurate though.

I'm 0-2 on battles that had losses with Altruist, and I think Arelu are at least 0-1. I'm not sure yet about the Humanoids, Snth, or Moon Roaches.
