Host or game setup

In the new game section under the topic "All the Simple Races" we need a volunteer for hosting and or game setup. All race files have been checked and are ready for universe setup.

Can anyone help us out?

Now I as host have a problem: a player had an idea to save all turn files, so they could be used after game ends, to make some animation of players' progress. Any idea how to do that?

I haven't hosted on sah before, so don't know about the saving of the files, but it's funny, I have just published a tool that does make such an animation, http://starsautohost.org/sahforum2/index.php?t=msg&th=55 00&start=0&rid=472
I should probably add an option to make an animated gif or something our of it. Probably has that in place before your game is finished if it is needed Wink

To save files simply add your own email to all of the races.

Then you get a copy of each file each year...

So it is nice if Ron is willing to backup all the stuff, although we probably shouldn't bother him with it every time.
