Sole IS race in year 2508 of slow tech game. Likely one gen per week going forward. On high side of middle pack in terms of score. 10 races, pretty much split 5 on a side. Max 2 winners in this game.
Can become pivotal player. Nubians available in next few years. Allies can boost your other techs. Very little warfare, so industry intact. Borders need to be built up and better secured. Allies have password and are willing to review, tweak, or even do portions of your early turns as you get feel for game.
Your current allies were late in getting Nubians, so have been pushed around for 20+ years.
You can become a dominant player on the underdog side as we attempt to become overdogs. IS orgy, speed bump mines, tachyon detector, etc. - all help in late game. And no pesky SD races in this game.
Or if you get bored and don't want a chance at being declared a co-winner, switch to other side and effectively end game.
