Due to the resignation of a player from the game "Lowtek", the game is on hold at the moment, and a replacement is required.
The game rules and lineup can be found in this thread ->LINK.
A short version below:
It's a medium-normal galaxy with 10 players. It's a non-AccBBS game, with Slow Tech, and Random Events options on. Allied victory (2 players max) allowed, usual exploits (chaff, repair-after-gate, split-dodge) allowed only. Additional rules:
- no Alpha/Beta torps ships built after 2450 or Jihad tech (whichever is sooner)
- no "Kill Starbase" order allowed
- no more than one partially-filled weapon slot on starbases (i.e. must fill one completely before starting another).
The game year is now 2462.
The resigning player controlled a JoAT race in a good strategic position (central location, part of a strong alliance) and with good economical and technology standing. The replacement player should find himself in a comfortable, if somewhat challenging, situation.

Crowe is the race seeking a replacement. Rank 2.
You will not have access to the .h file, but as a Joat, you will have access to gates across 4/9th of the universe and already have widely placed scouts, so you should not have a rough start.
You will be allied with Aerials(IT) & Karlathi(SS). (in the top 5, from what I know).
At war with Shakespeare (IS).(Also probably in the top 5).
At peace with rest of the neighbours.
The race along with it's allies owns 4 out of 9 sectors in the universe.
Your alliance is the biggest in the universe but is being allegedly challenged by my race (HE, top 5).
