With that many points left over, a 4(8)% HE would be the only thing playable. Growth rate is the ony way there is to get 2000 extra points. If you ban HE, it's a different story, but the game would be horrifyingly slow-paced.

The other problem would be the painfully slow pace of the game if we're stuck at around a 5% PGR in a medium. I may be a metaphorical graybeard here, but I'd rather win or lose before I'm a literal one.

Badly, I'd think.
Initially I thought perhaps a CA could compete with an HE but... not really: with 2012 leftover pts my bets would be on the HE.

When I thought this up I was specifically thinking of HE, and didn't give the other PRTs much thought. For the concept to work for other PRTs, the rwp penalty shouldn't be more than 1000 (probably closer to 800). In that case the HE might need additional nerfing. How would AR fare?
