 Users may now attach files to Private Messages.
Max of 10 attachments per PM, each max size 100k.

Each user is allowed to have up to 1000k of PM space for text and/or attachments.

The following are allowed filetypes:
jpg gif zip txt png jpeg and .r,.m,.x,.xy, and .hst files

This will allow players to send their race files directly to the game host via PM, instead of email (if they prefer).

Naturally, users should be careful of any file stored in a .zip attachment, and scan it for viruses.

(edit) increased all limits and added other Stars! file extensions.

 When you delete a Private Message, it is moved into the Trash folder and stays there until you delete it from there.

I don't like that feature either, but that's the way it works.

Do .r1 .r2 etc files also work? I tried to send my duel race (.r1) to E-Dog that way. First it was visible as attachment. Now i looked again that PM (to see how many times attachment has been downloaded) and i do not see it anymore. Rolling Eyes

 Perhaps .x1 ect. files would be nice as well? Makes it very easy to do duels, that way.

For duels I think I would still prefer email or better instant messaging, ...
Right at this moment one of my teammates has internet connection problems, can't acces email and we're sharing our .x files over the forum ... a bit of a hassle IMHO ... even more since they need to be un/zipped every time ... Being able to send .x files (and mabye .m and .h files as well) would be nice.

Though a awfully long list now ... Wink making the browser window very wide (and send button is on the very right, so you have to drag the window around)

Sorry, but I don't think that wild cards work (.r*, .x*), so I had to enter in each possible combination.
