Where is the Battle simulator?

I used to have the battle simulator files and am trying to locate it again, anyone know the link?

I don't think so, it was all all the files for a game with with max tech and all MT parts possessed by every separate PRT.

The Battlesim Testbed Eagle Of Fire is pointing to is just that. It may not have every PRT and LRT combination possible, as it is only possible to have 16 races in a game, but it allows any ship to be built, including MT toys and PRT/LRT specific parts, and any combination of PRT/LRT traits that affects battle can be had by the race that uses the ships. It is sometimes necessary to build the ships with one race and then transfer the ships, though.

Eagle and Craebild are both experienced players and my memory is often wonky.. but I remember a web page that let you decide what tech levels you wanted and it then generated the universe for you.
I don't think it had options of deciding race.. but I have a really hazy idea of it in the 1st place, so no idea.

Does this strike a bell in anyone else's memory? :s

No, I was looking for it myself for quite some time. My old link was offline but either the site is online again or I forgot that I picked up the new link from somewhere because yesterday my old(?) link worked again.

And yes, it should be in the mountain of tips and articles I try to drown newbies with *grin*
