minelaying + OoE + Move merge Heal |

So using the same concept of overgating merge heal (where if you merge into a stationary ship, the entire fleet heals as if it didn't move), does the same apply to Minelaying?
As per the Order of Events, minelaying takes place after WP1 merge orders (which happens after fleet movement, ofc).
So if I merge a moving minelayer into a stationary chaff, which has minelaying orders, will the "new" fleet lay mines?
(again, no time to testbed, but I'll post after the game gens...)
Nmid.
ps - darn, just remembered walking on egg shells. Time to send a mail to my host before friday's gen.
I know my minefields.. but I'm a chaff sweeper.

Nope. Minelaying happens *before* Merge, as anyone gating new minelayers to merge with already laying fleets knows.

Hmm.. I checked again and you are right.

Point 31>* Waypoint 1 Fleet Merge *, and point 29> Mine Laying..
Thanks.
