perhaps 10 years later, they might release the supernova code as it is?

Maybe someone should ask them. But I think there are Problems with the Copyright. I think they dont own the copyright becouse they produced it for a company. And after the Company become insolvent someone other get the Copyright but not the Jeffs.

One of many casualties of the dot-com bust, when everything seemed possible and then suddenly wasn't. Sad

The Jeffs said that most of Supernova's codebase was thoroughly married to the "art" (graphics and sound files) they got for the project. That "art" is still some Company's cherished property, and rewriting the code for different "art" would be almost as hard as starting from scratch. Hit Computer

Even the people who got the early beta cannot talk about it, much less share it. Wall Bash
