This is my first time using Autohost, its a pretty slick system!

But when are the last two going to submit their turns!? I'm itching to see my scouting report.

Not so sure that i like the idea of finding a replacement on turn 1. Perhaps if he is a no show we should just regenerate the game without him possibly brining in the others who were interested aswell?

That said - and is it just wrong to quote myself? - we ought to give the guy an opportunity to get his turn in. He first joined the forum over eight years ago, so he's had a little more experience with Stars than I do, for instance.

Strange. I remember Mick played in a game (Topeka) last year and did not have any problems submitting turns.
I also emailed him a short while ago and told him it was urgent he submit and reply here or to game host. Maybe that will help.

He also was a replacement in another game, Anything Goes, I believe it was, and did his turns there regularly.
I found a different email he used in that game and will send him a message there too.

Mick is in. And he asked me to cover him until Wednesday - out of town. If ok with host, game should be rolling along smoothly now.

Yes, I know I checked races, but there won't be much happening the first few turns that would make a difference. I won't be sending any CC fleets even if I knew where to send them. LOL

Thanks for filling in - it'll be nice to get the game going. Let's be sure we don't send any DD fleets anywhere, either. Smile

I jest; I see no problem with you setting up his build queue and doing some initial scouting until Wednesday. If anything, he'll be at a disadvantage if his scouts spot any aliens...

Actually, he told me if the host takes game off of hold within the next 7 or so hours from now, he'll be able to get the next turn in and setup some orders for a few years. So I won't have to do much but submit turns.
