I was reading the various "cheetingz" threads and noticed a distinction being made between people who "merely" break host rules and people who abuse the Known Bugs.

So, to demonstrate the lack of difference, I propose a game in which the Freepop Hack is ALLOWED for ALL PLAYERS.

Since the hack speeds up the game considerably, I propose the following settings:

Large/Packed (10-ish players)
Distant

No B:MM
Slow Tech
No AccBBS (mostly irrelevant anyway)
Random Events on
PPS off

TT CA should probably be allowed, since their main advantage (pop growth) is irrelevant here.

Anyone interested?

 If you allow min dmg, I am in. Also allow all other "in game" exploits, those requiring no other programs to initiate.

You mean, allow the whole Known Bugs list?

There's a couple that are of comparable power to the Freepop Hack, and I think should still be disallowed.

- Mineral Upload

- Starbase Friendly Fire

We'll probably take a vote on the others at some point.

 Why not just a game straight out of the box.

The only rule is there are no rules,

You download a M file and upload a X file. Anything that works is legal.

PS. If what you do crashes AH or the game, I'll be pissed. I'll get over it, but still pissed

EDIT: I would prefer a game where the only thing banned are manipulation of the game files. So if you can do it with the Stars UI it's legal.
