Well, it might be if I could target the warships after the planet was taken over by enemy ships. LOL
I don't remember exactly, but I believe there were a couple ships killed there, and perhaps a small base. So, yes, it had a small battle.
But that's not the question. The question is how do you arrive there after sweeping a minefield with a very large number of chaff and warships, and merge to the lowest fleet number as suggested, to prevent using the forbidden target list overload bug.

You can't. Not in the 1st year after moving and arriving on the planet. The effect of the merge will show only in the 2nd year.
But why are we talking about this? This wasn't the point raised by you originally, nor was the suggestion given by the host applicable for this.
I know my minefields.. but I'm a chaff sweeper.
