I am hosting the game Tenderfoot and one of the players is having this error:

file tenderf.m5 appears to be corrupt. Unable to load file.

He can load previous turns with no problem. I can open his turn file just fine. Is there anyone who has an idea of what this problem is?

Any help would be appreciated.

I thought that perhaps downloading the .xy file and the .m file from the server will help rhino open up his turn...
If you are able to open his turn file, then there must be something specific only to his computer.. or game folder.

Rhino, perhaps trying another folder or another computer might help?

Corrupt h file

I had him delete the h file and try to open, that didn't work. We will try deleting any x files in the folder as well.

If there was a version conflict he would have had issues with the first 30 turns of the game I would assume.

HOORAY!

I got it open when I dragged the .m .xy .h file out onto the desktop of my Win98VM. I think it's something weird between it being in a dropbox folder and a shared folder between my Vista64bit and Win98VM machines.

Still no reason why the other's didn't all do that as well. Oh well as long as I can get it open and submit.

I'll play my turn now.

Thanks for all who helped.

Not necessarily! Many problems surface only when things start getting complicated. Confused
