I have been playing a few duels and I've had a number of questions that came up during normal game play.

I was playing against an IT in one game and I had ISB as my LRT.
I remember reading that if you have ISB, then IT can't scan your gate worlds.

My opponent however did spot my worlds, when my gates went up.
Any idea why that happened?

An additional question : If I make a starbase with n/300 on the left slot, and a 100/n on the right slot, does that mean that I can send out n/n ships?

Something like having 2 MD 10's, let's me hurl at W11 without leaking.

ISB only trumps IT scanning from 150/600 and any/800 gates. 100/250s, any/300s, 300/500s, 100/anys, and any/anys can scan you just fine (although cloaking still applies to the finite ones).

And no, I don't believe an any/300 and a 100/any make an any/any. It's hardly a big deal, what with the repair after gating loophole and the fact that range overgating never loses an IT ships, just damages them.

Does normal cloaking work on the 100/250 or the 300/500 scanning?

As for the gates - I thought as much.. couldnt be that lucky.
Haven't bothered test checking it, but just wanted to know for reference.
I'm guessing it's the left orbital slot that is the master ?

EDIT - loads of changes.

If you install more than one gate then only the "first" one will be used. Please read on the Wiki for more information about how the slots of ships and/or starbases are numbered in the code.

From memory, I think only the first gate to the left will be used.

Cloaking (which you have 20% of, for free, with ISB) will work against all gatescanning, identically to how it works against normal scanning, but the ones with infinite range are not actually affected, since 2% of infinity = infinity.

Also, note that the bug happens when the IT's using a 150/600 or any/800, not when the ISB race is.
