Yay! I thought you had gone awol.
Personally, I'm fine with a final 24 hours wait.
Nmid.
edit - Email ids are much easier, when you want to give out some free information, without having had contact with that race.

I just don't think it's a good idea to give out people's emails if they don't want them given out.
|
I support you if it's a public disclosure or if the mail ids can be mined by spam bots. However, when it's a closed circle, I think it's ok.
If the host has to ask everyone, if they are ok in sharing email ids, I shudder to think of the effort it will take.
I understand privacy but being over-cautious has it's limitations.
edit - Stupid "/quote" !!

You have convinced me to send an in-game message to everyone this turn with my email address on it.
You have not convinced me to allow disclosure of email addresses by those that don't want it.
Also, the way you format is wrong and misattributes quotations.

Ah.. You're perhaps right about the earlier post, where I should have left your comment about you being ok with emails stay on.
I usually paraphrase quotes to what I'm directly replying to, to shorten post lengths. It might be tough for new people reading the post, to follow what's going on.
Apologies.
I should have also added in my earlier post (I had written it, but deleted it), that if anyone really wants their email ids protected and not shared within our stars community, should have a signature on each mail saying so.
Even a simple note on the 1st mail to a new contact should work.

The issue was that you left out a [/quote], so the forum said that I said what you said and you said what I said.
I usually shorten quotations also, but I take care to get the formatting right so it attributes things correctly.
@ManicLurch: Not all those emails are obvious.

Going to get around figuring out who's who, this weekend.
|
Didn't realise till I just started identifying who's who.
He's mailed all 9 of us in the same order as the player list in the game.
Simple enough
