I testet the use of deflectors on nubians, and it seems that a nubian fittet with beam deflectors will receive damage rounded to the nearest 100. However, it will always be a minimum of 100.

Thus a nubian with 30 deflectors that is being hit by a single stack of 3 Mega Disprupters should suffer 3 * 169 * 0.9 ^ 30th power = 3 * 169 * 0,04239 = 21,49 damage to armor.

This is rounded up to 100, which works in similar ways to the "minimum 0.2% damage from torps/missiles".

Another thing is that the same test with only a single x-ray causes the x-ray ship not to move to attack the deflector fittet nubian as if it is unarmed.

Weird. Perhaps the x-ray damage is low enough that it believes no attack is being (or will be) actually carried out, and thus doesn't bother? Sherlock

One way to test for something like that (and perhaps a rounding down of damage done) would be to send the x-ray "killer" against several Nubs with different Deflection at the same time, and see what it does. Or send several "killers" with different weaponry, and see where the cutoff is, if any. 2 Guns

I tried to recreate this rounding event, but my 'single stack of 3 Mega Disprupters' consistently cause 20 pts damage. Have I overlooked something?
