Trouble seeing Germanium

I'm having a devil of a time seeing anything writen in the "germanium yellow." It just doesn't contrast enough against the background. Is there an easy way to deal with this?

Check your monitor's contrast, gamma, and temperature/hue. Yellow is primary enough that should be easily readable against anything. Rolling Eyes

Alternatively, be careful around traffic lights, just in case there's something wrong with your eyes. Shocked

If it is a eye thing, not just a badly calibrated monitor (that's fixable,) then you could try asking PaulCr nicely if he might help you change the colour.

He managed to change the colours in part of Stars by editing the exe, perhaps he can tweak this for you by the same method. (Or you could apply the same method, if you're savvy with this sort of thing.)

You are not alone... The new LCD monitors are really different than the old CRT ones. The old monitors always had a fixed setting, while every different brand and model of LCD monitor have different display settings.

I too have this problem when I play or tweak my turns at work... And I know that I would have no other choice than to be extra careful or to change the color in question.
